Got salinity? Herbicide-resistant kochia? Foxtail barley?
Help your best acres deliver more with MAP.
Ducks Unlimited Canada’s Marginal Areas Program (MAP) helps you tackle low-performing areas in your grain fields. By seeding perennial forages on acres that are saline, weedy, or hard to access, you can reduce losses and focus your input dollars where they generate the greatest return.
More incentives available through DUC partnerships with FCC and PepsiCo:

FCC Sustainability Incentive
If you’re an existing Farm Credit Canada (FCC) customer and have converted marginal areas to forage with DUC, you may be eligible for an additional incentive of up to $4,000 per year.
PepsiCo Incentive
PepsiCo, a global food and beverage leader, provides added financial support to eligible producers with oats or canola in their rotation. This incentive equals up to 50% of the FCC incentive, to a maximum of $2,000 per eligible application.
Learn more about this FCC Sustainability Incentive Program including how to apply. Application deadline January 31, 2026.
If you’ve got field areas that are delivering a negative return on investment, MAP may be right for you. The expert advice of DUC agrologists make it easy!
